Must see 2007

Must see is a new section on Youth Work Resources and is designed to bring you things or places that we feel are a “must see” mail me with your must see and see if we add it

The Ashton Court Festival 2007 has been in existence since 1974 and is the South West's largest and longest running community and multi-arts festival. Held within Bristol's beautiful Ashton Court Estate, over the two days of the event over 150 acts will take to the stage within 8 different performance areas, representing a wide variety of musical genres.

Greenbelt 2007 which is Europe's largest Christian arts, activism, youth and music festival. 2005 festival offers a diverse line-up of bands, speakers, performing artists, film showings, literary events, worship experiences, and a packed children's programme.
If you have never been before and are a youth worker (or church leader) they normally have a great deal for you (free) so check out the web site http://www.greenbelt.org.uk/ and add it to the top of your must see events in 2007.
It’s huge
It’s diverse
It’s a packed programme you can’t possibly see everything.
Its great fun
Its safe to allow young people a lot of freedom.

Creation fest is a small FREE chilled Christian music festival held in Woolacombe, Devon. Talks and seminars in the day and the bands are on the main stage from late afternoon. Which gives you a chance to pop to the awesome beach (be safe) or local town to stock up on chocolate.
There is an emphasis in the talks on the American version of creationist teaching, but it is interesting. http://www.creationfest.org.uk/
