Pastor:Peter Lynch Peterhas been the Pastor of Worle Baptist Church since September 2001. He was previously the associate pastor at Cornerstone Fellowship in Aberdeen ('86-93) and then Pastor at Church Lane Evangelical Church, Stafford ('94-2001). Having grown up in Manchester and developed a strong allegiance to Manchester City, he studied Geology at Sheffield and Aberdeen Universities before working in the oil industry. While living in Aberdeen he joined the staff of his church and retrained in Theology, completing his studies in 1994 at London Bible College. He still has a mild interest in anything to do with rocks; a rather mediocre golf game; an enjoyment of most things outdoor, including skiing and walking and a now rather morbid attachment to Manchester City. Peter is married to Louise who is a Social Work Trainer. They met in Aberdeen and were married in 1994. They have two fantastic boys, Calum and Jonah. |
